Eagle Rock Entertainment lanza "Tommy – Live At The Royal Albert Hall" en DVD, Blu-Ray, 2CD, 3LP y Descarga digital.
Esta increíble película captura el primer concierto en el que interpretaron "Tommy" en su totalidad. Y sus más de dos horas y veinte minutos de contenido incluye clásicos como Pinball Wizard, I’m Free, Amazing Journey, We’re Not Gonna Take It, I Can’t Explain, Who Are You, Won’t Get Fooled Again, I Can See For Miles y muchos más.
En abril de 2017 The Who llegaron al Royal Albert Hall de Londres para interpretar integramente su ópera Rock "Tommy" por primera vez en su larga e ilustre carrera. En anteriores giras siempre habían caído dos, tres o cuatro pistas del álbum, pero para este espectáculo a beneficio de The Teenage Cancer Trust, la banda realizaría cada una de las pistas.
Con una pantalla enorme encima del escenario con animaciones especialmente creadas para el evento y una creativa iluminación, el concierto contó la historia del chico sordo, mudo y ciego que jugaba a pinball .Además, al final de Tommy, la multitud pudo disfrutar un corto conjunto de clásicos del grupo.
Así como el increíble espectáculo completo, también se incluyen algunos momentos detrás del escenario y animaciones para pantalla de The Acid Queen y Pinball Wizard con el audio en vivo.
Esta película filmada en alta definición captura algunos de sus más grandes trabajos, impresionantemente escenificado e interpretado en su totalidad por primera vez, en un lugar emblemático. "Tommy – Live At The Royal Albert Hall" es absolutamente imprescindible para los fans de The Who.
